Somebody tells me that you could make soft gooey cookies using cream cheese instead of butter, I need to fight to maintain the eye contact, so my pupils would not betray me and roll to the very back of my head. I heard of and tested all the kinds of baking and also cooking hacksin the internet raves about.
3/4 c brown sugar
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/3 c all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teapoon baking soda
2 c semisweet chocolate chips
1 8 oz package cream cheese softened
3/4 c granulated sugar
- Preheat the oven to 375 degress F.
- In a large bowl combine the salt, baking soda, and flour. Set aside.
- Use another bowl, add the cream cheese, granulated sugar, brown sugar. Beat it using electic mixer until fluffy and light, for at least 1 to 2 minutes. Add the vanilla extract and egg, whipping until combined.
- Drop by rounded spoonful into a parchmentlined baking sheet. Bake it for 9 to 10 minutes or until the cookies is puffed up slightly and turned a lightly toasted tan color.
