Tinipak River is set in the hidden paradise of Barangay Daraitan in Tanay Rizal. Barangay Daraitan is a humble and traditional community lies on the foot of the Mountain Sierra Madre. Today, Daraitan is becoming popular as one of the mus visit destinations in Tanay for it offers a big array of nature activities and one of this is the river system trekking in Tinipak River.
Adventurers or Tourist will surely love this place for its accompanied by enigmatic stories behind the formation of the limestone and marbles. On the way to this enchating Tinipak river is sporadic slippery, grassland, and muddy. Deathifying wall climbing, rock climbing and rappelling are present. Tinipak River is packed with adrenaline rush activities.

Hot to Go to Daraitan:
• Ride a FX in front of Starmall in Shaw.
• 1.5hrs to Tanay Town, the fare is 120 pesos
• Take a tricycle in Tanay to Daraitan. 500 pesos 1 way, 1.5 hrs
• 30 minutes hike to and along the river to your desired camp site.
- The ride from Tanay to Daraitan is a little bit long because,
- The steep climb from town to Sampaloc,
- Then after Sampaloc, 70 percent of the road is rough.

The Camp Site
Hiking around 2 kilometers of the riverside and noticed many spots along the banks where 1 can camp. We suggest you go deeper through to the area near the cave. Ask you guide and they know. That is the spot where the rock formations become more notable and there are also a couple of nice spots to camp.
You can set up the tents next to temporary wooden bridge made by locals that connects the 2 sides of the river to the cave. The flow of the water is more rapid but there sandy sections suitable for camping.
With a budget of P1,000 pesos, travel time of less than 4 hours and only the weekend needed for an overnight camping, Tinipak Tiver in Daraitan is a good for an out of town. A nature adventure and trip to experience.
