The China has donated P90 million to Philippines as aid for the damages caused by super typhoon Lawin or its international name Haima.
In a press from the Chinese Embassy last evening China donated P50 million for disaster relief of fishermens and farmers in the affected regions.
It had an initially donated P35 million for anti disaster efforts.
The China Embassy added the the Red Cross Society of China will also provide a humanitarian aid $100,000 for the Philippines.
The total of commitments from China reached fpr about P90 million.
The Embassy on Monday evening said that Chinese President Xi Jinping expressed condolences to President Duterte during their bilateral talk in Beijing last October 20 2016.
Chinese Embassy said it is confident that the under regime of President Rodrigo Duterte people in the affected area will overcome calamity and return to their normal lives and work as soon as possible.
