President Duterte is willng to hold a joint military exercises with the Japenese troops after the issue was `discussed on general terms` during his meeting with Japan Prime Minister Shinzo Abe Wednesday evening.
But President Duterte clarified the US a common ally of Philippines and Japan, will not take a part in the proposed war games.
`I only give the go signal for the war games with the US because I dont want my Defense secretary to lose his fase. But that will be the last (war game with the US)`. President Duterte said.
Duterte repeatedly said that the war game between Philippines and its treaty ally will end under on his term.
Before giving nod to idea of joint military drills between the Japan and Philippines, Duterte said that he `want all foreign troops out of the Philippines in the next 2 years.`
